As you read this, I hope you are encouraged. Covette and I have been through many attacks and trials. God’s mercy and grace is wonderful and He has brought us through! I think of the scripture where Jesus tells Peter that Satan has asked to sift him and then he tells Peter to strengthen the brethren after the trial. (Luke 22:31). God is faithful and just to keep His children! Your trial may feel too great, but it is not. God our Father knows what you need (James 1:2-6). And, He knows when you need it.
We now have two wonderful boys, Andrew and Kyle. Kyle accepted the Lord as his Savior three months ago and I was privileged to baptize him in the nearby river. Andrew professes Christ but has held a lot of hurt and bitterness in his heart. He has asked for forgiveness and repented of the things he has hurt others with. Praise God!
Please pray for us as the Holy Spirit leads. We are ready to begin the work of evangelism in the nearby communities of Frannie and Deaver, Wyoming. The only church within the two towns is a small Methodist church in Deaver with just a few members left. There is however, a strong Mormon influence in the area with several churches in the surrounding cities. Our hope is to build a body of believers in Frannie. We have been praying over the last four years that the Lord would open an opportunity to share the Gospel in these communities. There are about 800 people in these towns. Please ask the Lord to open the hearts of the people and to give us wisdom and insight to help encourage people to God’s grace.
I know if you are reading this, you may be having problems with your teen. I would encourage you. The Lord writes about this in the Scripture in Mark 13:12-13. Actually if you would read Mark 13:1-31 you will read all about today and the days to come. But, don’t lose heart, for we will be delivered. Thank the Lord our Father!
